  1. fixed

Online dots sit on top of avatar decorations

    • The green, red and yellow status dot on your picture now shows above the ring or decoration around it, instead of sliding underneath.
  2. better

Listen: mood and recent search chips have more room

    • The mood chips (lofi, pop, chill…) and your recent searches sit further apart, so they’re easier to tap without hitting the next one.
  3. fixed

    Message menus are solid again

    • The copy, forward, pin and delete menu on a message has its own background now, so it no longer shows the chat text behind it.
  4. fixed

Avatar decorations no longer get cut off in your chat list

    • The top of the first chat in your list, like bunny ears or a crown, shows in full now instead of being cut off by the edge of the list.
  5. new

momo’s wardrobe: face tattoos and gloss puffers

    • Face tattoos for your raised Momo: a teardrop, little stars, a tiny cross, luv in script across her forehead, a barbed wire band, or the full face set.
    • Gloss puffer jackets in black, cherry, pink and chrome: quilted, puffy sleeves, and a high collar zipped up to her chin.
    • Find them in momo’s wardrobe aisle in the shop. Tattoos get their own row in your Momo’s wardrobe, so she can wear one with any hat and outfit.
  6. better

Listen: the song you’re playing, as an album you’re holding

    • Listen is redone at night: whatever you play sits in an open CD case in the middle of the page, its cover in the booklet and its colour lighting the desk under it.
    • Grab the disc and turn it to scrub through the song. The line round its edge shows how far in you are.
    • Original, sped up, slowed + reverb and your own mix sit under the song like a tracklist, one tap each. The full mixer (knobs, pitch, pads, sleep timer, saved mixes) folds open from the mixer button.
    • Pass the aux cards are photocards cut from the cover that’s playing, and the shelves show their covers in little cases.
    • Find songs, playlists, favorites and import live in a bar that stays at the top while you scroll. Space plays and pauses.
    • Everything sits centred on phones and desktop, and the bright cream panels are gone.
  7. better

Feed profiles: your theme, and a cleaner look

    • Feed profiles and post pages now use your dashboard theme, including custom themes you’ve made and the seasonal look.
    • Adding a song to your profile opens the picker on top of everything, instead of underneath the note box, and edit profile fits on the screen and scrolls instead of running off the page.
    • Profiles are tidier: one typeface through the whole header, icon tabs for notes, replies, media and likes, quieter song controls and evenly spaced stats.
    • Profiles without a banner get a drawn sheet of stars, hearts and notes in your page colours instead of a blur.
    • Long badge collections fold behind a +N chip, the note box on your own profile stays one line until you tap it, and "1 note" or "1 follower" no longer reads as plural.
    • Notes on a profile are cleaner too: one typeface for names, handles and times, a tighter row of actions, and a quiet "reposted by" line over reposts.
  8. new

Listen: a redrawn booth, and pass the aux

    • momo’s DJ booth is redrawn like one of her stickers: candy knobs, gummy sample pads and jelly buttons that press down when you tap them.
    • New "pass the aux" row under the booth. Start listening together with any chat right from Listen, without opening the chat first.
    • Put whatever’s playing on your profile page in one tap, even a song you found in search, and show it on your note or copy a link to it with your booth mix.
  9. better

Listen: autoplay and shelves that don’t repeat themselves

    • Autoplay now picks from a much wider pool: different songs by artists like the one you’re playing, shuffled fresh every time, so the same song no longer leads into the same five next.
    • One song per artist in a row, and nothing you’ve heard in your last 200 songs, even when it turns up under a different upload.
    • No more hour-long DJ mixes, compilations, “type beat” uploads or slowed edits sneaking into autoplay or the shelves.
    • The shelves change every visit: four genres out of twenty, filled with real songs, plus a “more like” shelf for an artist you’ve played lately.
  10. new

A one-of-one badge for the god space

    • The god space wears its own badge, and no other space will ever have it: a gold wheel ringed with little eyes, a sunburst turning behind it, two rings spinning through each other and one great eye in the middle.
    • The eye opens with a flash when it appears, then blinks and looks around. Hover it and the pupil widens; tap it to see what it means.
    • It shows everywhere the space does: its invite page, Discover, your chats, the crest card and the link preview in Discord.
  11. better

Starry night, Notebook and Sakura frames, redrawn

    • Starry night is a whole scene now: swirling sky, a sleepy moon on the edge of your post, hills with a little village and a cypress, stars that twinkle and two that fall.
    • Notebook looks like a page torn from a spiral pad, taped up at the corners, with a folded corner, a coffee ring and a few pen doodles.
    • Sakura has a fuller branch with real five-petal blossoms and buds, petals that sway as they fall, a few resting at the bottom, and a little sprig on longer posts.
    • Cloud nine and Genesis keep their colours right when several of them are on the same page.
  12. better

An easier momo’s shop, and frames in your closet

    • momo’s shop has one aisle per kind of thing: decorations, name effects, post frames, post fonts, bubbles, nameplates and momo’s wardrobe, each showing how many you own.
    • Search the shop, sort by price or name, and show only what you don’t own yet or can afford.
    • Buy, wear and gift straight from the try-on, and your coins stay in view while you browse.
    • The closet mirror can show you on the feed too, and your post frames and fonts hang on their own rails.
  13. better

Three new post frames, a cleaner post page, smoother black holes

    • New post frames in momo’s shop: Notebook, Sakura and Starry night.
    • Opening a post now shows its frame, and the post page has the same calm look as the feed.
    • Feed profiles are tidier, and framed posts no longer go dark when you hover them.
    • Name effects move again on the feed, and the last letter of a name no longer gets cut off.
    • The Singularity and Accretion bubbles are redrawn as real black holes and no longer lag your chats.
    • Typing on the feed is smooth again.
    • Searching from the sidebar now actually searches posts.

  1. new

Dress up your posts, and put songs on your feed

    • Post frames are in momo’s shop: Cloud nine, Strawberry plush and Love letter. The one you wear goes around every post you make.
    • Post fonts too: bubbly, handwritten, storybook, typewriter and pixel.
    • Your chat name effect now shows on your posts and your feed profile.
    • Add a song to a post with the ♪ button, and put up to five songs on your feed profile. Songs are full tracks, the same ones as Listen.
    • Story songs now come from the same full-song catalog as Listen.
    • The feed is calmer: posts sit in one clean list, with view counts.
  2. new

See what someone’s wearing from their chat info

    • Open a DM’s info (the ⓘ at the top of the chat) and there’s a new “wearing” list: their name effect, message bubble, nameplate and avatar decoration, each shown on them.
    • Every item says what it’s called and where it came from, like how many coins it costs in momo’s shop or that it’s from the season pass, so you know how to get it too.
  3. new

Gift things from momo’s shop and the Shop

    • Every item in momo’s shop has a little gift button now. Type a friend’s @, and your coins buy it straight into their collection, with a note from you in your DMs. You can gift things you already own too.
    • In the Shop, every item has a “Gift it to someone” button next to Add to Cart. In your cart, send it to someone’s @ or leave that empty to get a gift link you can share anywhere.
    • You can put more than one of the same gift in your cart (one for each friend), and every gift you’ve bought, links and sent ones, is listed under your gift links in the Shop.
  4. better

A new front page: momo’s room in 3D

    • The yen.bio homepage now opens in momo’s room in 3D. Move your mouse and the room shifts like a little diorama, with rain beading and running down her window.
    • Claiming a name is a name tag now. Write yours in and the room answers: the lamps light right up and “yours!” gets stamped on if it’s free, and they dim if someone already lives there.
    • The newest people to move in show up as stickers, with how many joined this week. On phones, the whole thing fits on the first screen.
  5. better

    A shinier affiliate badge

    • The purple badge on yen.bio affiliate Spaces is now a little enamel pin: a glossy face set into a deep rim, two rings that properly link like a chain, and a sparkle that twinkles by its corner.
    • Invite previews shared on Discord show the new badge too.
  6. better

Events, Premium and the welcome steps, redone

    • Events now shows the hunt that’s on as something you can play: a slot for every find that fills in as you go, the places to look, and which ones you’ve already checked.
    • Events also shows what’s coming next (Christmas, Easter and summer, with their dates), which it used to leave out.
    • Premium has a membership card with your @ on it. It’s pink and shiny once Premium is yours.
    • Setting up a new page on a computer now shows the page coming together beside momo’s steps: your picture, your first link and your song pop in as you add them.
  7. better

Gift links and template pages, redone

    • Opening a gift link now shows a wrapped present (it opens once the gift is yours), the note from whoever sent it on a taped-up card, and buttons that match the rest of yen.bio.
    • Template pages have the site’s menu and footer, and the preview shows momo while it opens instead of a black box.
    • An invite link that no longer works says so with a little help from momo.
    • Unsubscribing from the weekly stats email happens on a proper yen.bio page now.
  8. better

A new vibe check, a friendlier locked page, and readable terms

    • The vibe check starts with two name tags: write two @s, momo sits between them, and you get your score.
    • The terms and privacy policy now look like the rest of yen.bio, with the menu at the top, a contents list that follows you down the page, and easier reading.
    • The buttons at the bottom of the help center have their colour back.
    • A private, friends-only or password page now greets visitors with a closed door in momo’s room, a sign on the handle saying why, and the way in right under it.
  9. better

    The home page opens faster

    • The home page is about a quarter of the size it was: the try-it builder, the styles, the frames, the games and the other showcases further down now load as you scroll toward them, so the top of the page shows up sooner, especially on phones.
    • Pages without name effects no longer download the styles for them.

  1. fixed

Tidier momo’s shop, Spaces and insights on phones

    • momo’s shop no longer cuts off the end of its intro on phones.
    • Find your space shows one momo at the top instead of two stacked on each other.
    • Insights no longer runs off the side of a phone screen when one of your links has a long name.
  2. new

Everything we ship, on one page

    • yen.bio/updates lists every change we’ve made, newest first and grouped by day, so you can see what’s new without signing in. Share a link to any one of them.
    • The home page now shows the latest few as notes taped up in momo’s room, and the footer has more in it: what’s new, frames, try a look, and a link to say hi in the Discord.
  3. better

    Tighter privacy and safer sign-ins

    • Logging in with Discord only joins an existing yen.bio account when Discord has verified the email on it. If yours isn’t verified yet, verify it in Discord (User Settings, My Account) and try again.
    • Posts from private accounts no longer show up in link previews or quote cards for people who don’t follow them, and private, friends-only and password pages stay hidden everywhere, including the styles gallery.
    • Mutes and bans in a Space now count in every room of the Space, not just its main chat.
    • When the app sends you to your browser to connect Discord, the browser now asks before it signs you in.
    • Ending a blackjack, mines, tower or hi-lo game with /stop now finishes it the way running out of time would (the dealer plays, or you cash out what you’ve won). Stopping a crash round gives every rider their bet back.
  4. fixed

Chat cards and scheduled posts behave

    • A Spotify song in a chat no longer crashes the chat the moment its card loads, and neither does one of momo’s game cards when the game gets posted again further down.
    • Scheduling a post now lets you pick any time from a minute from now, wherever you are. Before, people in the Americas couldn’t schedule anything for the next few hours.
  5. better

Smoother scrolling and less lag across the site

    • Animations you’ve scrolled past now hold still until you scroll back to them, so long pages like the homepage do far less work and your battery lasts longer.
    • Scrolling the homepage no longer hitches for a moment when you start and stop.
    • Profiles with background parallax or a tilting card follow your mouse more smoothly.
    • Resizing the live preview in the editor is smoother.
  6. fixed

    Crash runs smooth

    • The crash rocket now climbs smoothly instead of stuttering, and the multiplier no longer jumps back and forth while you’re riding. Your cash-out amount ticks up in step with it.
  7. better

The desktop app runs cooler in the background

    • When the yen.bio app isn’t the window you’re using, its looping animations (decorations, badges, glows) pause, so your computer stays cooler and quieter. They pick up right where they were when you click back in.
  8. fixed

Messages stay in their own channel

    • Switching channels in a space could briefly show a message you’d just sent somewhere else, until you reopened the channel. Each channel now only shows its own messages.
