  1. better

    Crests are now pixel icons

    • Space crests drop the shield for a little 8-bit icon in the crest's colour, worn like a guild tag next to your name.
    • Space owners pick from a new set of pixel icons (crowns, skulls, ghosts, invaders, mushrooms and more), each recoloured with shading to match any colour.
    • Crests that already had an icon switch to the closest pixel one on their own.
    • The crest card no longer pins the icon over the Space's picture, so the picture shows in full.
  2. fixed

Status dots and the account menu, fixed on themes

    • With a dashboard theme on, your status dot shows again for every status (appear offline, do not disturb and important only too, not just online), next to your name and in the account menu.
    • With a floating sidebar minimized (like on the messages page), the account menu opens fully instead of getting cut off.
  3. better

    Discord shows when you're playing

    • In the yen.bio computer app (1.0.9), your Discord status now says what you're up to: adventuring in momo's RPG, raising a momo, playing momo's word or the mini crossword, working on the season pass, checking yen mail and more, instead of just being on the dashboard.
    • The app updates itself, so you'll get it automatically.
  4. new

Smart links: different links for different phones

    • Any link or section on your page can show only on iPhone & iPad, only on Android, only on phones, or only on computers. Find it under Show on when you edit a block.
    • Put your App Store link in front of iPhone people and your Play Store link in front of Android people, or a text-me link that only shows on phones.
    • It's sorted before your page even appears, so nothing flickers.
  5. new

    Link folders

    • Customize → Extra sections → Link folder: tuck a bunch of links into one tidy folder with a name and an emoji, like my socials, shop or my music.
    • Visitors tap it to open it smoothly. Choose whether it starts open or closed.
    • Clicks on the links inside count toward the folder in your insights.
  6. new

Put your page on your own website

    • Share card → put your page on your website: copy a bit of code and paste it into your site, blog or portfolio.
    • It shows a little card of your page in your colours: your picture, name, bio, a few of your links and a button to the rest, and it updates by itself when you change your page.
    • Private, friends-only and password pages just show that the page isn't public.
  7. new

A Chess.com card for your page

    • Customize → Extra sections → Chess.com: your rapid, blitz, bullet and daily ratings, each with your best and your wins, draws and losses.
    • Your title (GM, IM, FM and the rest), flag, league and puzzle highs show too, and the card links to your Chess.com profile.
  8. new

A Bluesky card for your page

    • Customize → Extra sections → Bluesky: type your handle (or paste your profile link) and your page shows your name, picture and follower count, with your three latest posts.
    • Each post links straight to it on Bluesky, with its replies, reposts and likes.
    • If you've asked Bluesky not to show your account to logged-out people, the card respects that and stays hidden.
  9. new

    Download your data

    • Settings → sign-in → Download your data gives you one file with everything yen.bio keeps that's tied to your account: your page and its sections, posts, notes and stories, chats you sent, follows, coins and orders, games, music, mail and notifications.
    • Sign-in secrets stay out of it, so the file is safe to keep.
  10. better

    Every RPG button matters now

    • A plain attack fills your ultimate fastest, and your class skill (power strike, arcane bolt and friends) fills it slowest. Spamming the skill hits harder but keeps your ultimate waiting.
    • Short fight? Skill away. Long fight or a boss? Attack to charge up, then drop your ultimate.
    • Once you've unlocked an ultimate, the attack and skill buttons show how fast each one charges it.
  11. new

    The RPG has sound now

    • Battles beep and boom in 8-bit: sword slashes, fire, frost and sparkly spells, crits that crunch, heals that chime, and a hit when the monster lands one.
    • A jingle when a fight starts, a fanfare (and coins) when you win, and a sad little tune when you don't.
    • Tap the speaker on the battle screen to turn it off. It remembers, and fights shared in chats stay quiet.
  12. new

    Full songs for your notes

    • The song picker in notes now searches full-length songs, not just 30-second previews.
    • Pick a song, then drag the window to any 30 seconds of it: the chorus, the drop, the bit you can't stop replaying.
    • Your friends hear exactly that part when they tap your note.
  13. fixed

yen mail reads well on light themes

    • On a light dashboard theme, yen mail's text uses your theme's own ink colour, so it's dark and readable instead of faint white.
    • When there's no new mail, the mailbox's little flag folds down along the box instead of poking out over your address.
    • Faded labels across the dashboard follow the same colour rules, so pages that pick up your theme's ink stay readable too.
  14. fixed

A safety pass on mail, calls and themes

    • yen mail's "verified sender" mark is stricter: it only shows when the email really comes from the domain in its From line, so a fake sender can't borrow it.
    • In calls, games and the soundboard, everything you see is checked against who actually sent it, so nobody can join or act in someone else's name.
    • Themes and page styles can no longer read what you type into a text box.
    • Password-locked pages slow down guessing even when it comes from lots of places at once.
  15. better

A cozier closet, and nothing gets cut off

    • The closet looks like a real dressing room: each rail has its own spot with a count, hangers hook over a proper rail, what you're wearing gets a glowing "on" tag, and a little bar under the mirror shows how full your closet is.
    • Mood, tag and style pills in Listen, the feed, Explore and Templates no longer get their edges sliced off, and rows fade out softly where they run off the side.
    • Dashboard themes no longer box in the feed: posts stay inside the column.
    • yen.bio's own slim scrollbars show everywhere, including a page's accent-coloured scrollbar and long emails in yen mail.
  16. new

    Commission rates on your page

    • Customize → Extra sections → Commissions: list what you make and what each costs, written however you like ($25, from €40, 2k coins).
    • Say whether you're open, on a waitlist or closed, and how many slots are left. Open gets a little glowing dot.
    • Add your terms (what you will and won't do, payment, turnaround) and a button to ask, linking to a form or your email.
  17. new

    A soundboard for your calls

    • Tap the party popper in any call for nine sounds everyone hears: ba dum tss, an air horn, applause, boing, a sad trombone, crickets, ta-da, a pop and momo's mew.
    • Each sound floats up the screen with who played it.
    • A short cooldown keeps it from becoming a siren, and you can mute other people's sounds just for you.
  18. better

    A cuter, easier Listen search

    • A big friendly search bar (press / to jump to it), mood chips to tap like lofi, k-pop or anime, and your recent searches to run again.
    • The best match shows up big as a top result, covers get a play button, and the song that's playing does a little dance.
    • Browse shelves scroll sideways as album covers, hearts pop when you save a song, and a tick shows once it's on your playlist.
  19. new

Lock your page with a password

    • Settings → privacy → who can open it now has a password option. Share the password with the people you want in.
    • Visitors get a cozy locked screen with a password box. Typing it once keeps your page open on their device for 30 days, and changing the password signs everyone out until they type the new one.
    • Pages that aren't public no longer show a preview picture when their link is shared.
  20. new

    Listen keeps the music going

    • Autoplay: when a song you picked from search or your favorites ends, Listen carries on with similar songs, and you can see what's up next. Your playlist still plays in its own order.
    • Skip to the next autoplay song any time, and switch autoplay off with the button next to repeat.
  21. new

yen mail: your own @yen.bio address

    • Claim [email protected] for free in Dashboard → yen mail, and read everything that arrives in a cozy mailbox: unread dots, stars, and each letter on cream paper.
    • Emails open safely: nothing in them can run, and pictures stay hidden until you choose to show them (so senders can't tell you've opened it). Senders that check out get a verified mark.
    • New mail shows up live. You can pause your address any time, and +tags work ([email protected] still reaches you). It's receive only for now.
  22. new

Your GitHub year on your page

    • The GitHub card now shows your contribution heatmap: a year of activity as a grid of squares in your page's accent colour, with your total and longest streak.
    • It's on for every GitHub card, and you can switch it off in the card's settings.
  23. fixed

    The crossword keeps its letters

    • Typing in momo's crossword and word game no longer sets off site shortcuts (like "align" jumping to notifications).
  24. new

momo's game night, in your calls

    • In a call, press the game controller to play with momo as host: trivia night, quick math, or are you smarter than a 5th grader?
    • momo reads every question out loud. Hold the mic and say your answer (spoken numbers count), or tap or type it. Quicker right answers score more, and streaks add a bonus.
    • Everyone in the call plays together, with a countdown, live check marks as people answer, a big reveal with confetti, and a podium at the end that momo posts in the chat.
    • Saying it out loud works in Chrome, Edge and Safari. In Firefox and the desktop app you tap or type instead.
  25. fixed

    No more chimes for nothing

    • A chat no longer plays the new-message sound over and over when nobody's sent anything. Each message chimes once.
  26. better

Back into your call after a reload

    • If you leave the page in the middle of a group call (signing in with Discord, a reload), you're put straight back in the call when you return.
    • Leave a 1:1 call that way and you'll get a "call back" button when you're back.
  27. fixed

    Typing never sets off shortcuts

    • Typing words with a g then an n or similar (like "align") no longer jumps you to another page. Keyboard shortcuts stay quiet whenever you're typing, including in the emoji and gif search.
  28. new

Voice and audio settings, push to talk

    • Settings → chats → voice and audio: pick your microphone and speakers, set input and output volume, test your mic with a live level meter (and hear yourself back), and play a test sound.
    • Turn noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic volume on or off. They change straight away, even in the middle of a call.
    • Push to talk: your mic only sends while you hold a key you choose, with a release delay so the end of a word isn't cut off. You can also join every call muted.
    • Group calls: leaving and rejoining connects you properly again (no more stuck on "joining"), people who join no longer look like they're sharing their screen, and with several people sharing you can pick whose screen to watch.
    • Screen shares close properly when a call ends, with a little TV switch-off when they do.
  29. better

Group calls show up in the chat

    • momo posts in the group when someone starts a call, and again with how long it went once everyone has left.
    • You're in one call at a time now: joining a group call hangs up a 1:1 call, and calling or answering someone takes you out of a group call.
    • In the desktop app, your Discord status shows when you're in a voice or group call and for how long (never who with). Needs desktop 1.0.8.
  30. fixed

Calls stay on screen with yen.bio open twice

    • With yen.bio open in more than one place (the app and a browser tab, say), a call no longer vanishes from your screen while you can still hear the other person. Only the window you call or answer from joins the call, and the others stop ringing.
