    • /top shows your chat’s records: most games won, pool champions, biggest payout, best fish and biggest heist haul.
    • /stats (or /stats @someone) shows a player’s card: games won by game, biggest payout, best catch, heists pulled off and coins earned from side hustles.
    • Every momo command now has its own icon, and uno shows more of your hand on phones.
    • momo’s coins got a new look: a crisp 8-bit pixel coin.

    Pool upgrades, provably fair crash and more

    • Pool: a rematch button when a game ends, a count of chat members online to watch, an aiming-guide toggle for harder games, and a new segmented power meter.
    • Crash is now provably fair: every round shows a fingerprint of its secret before take-off, and once it ends your browser checks the crash point wasn’t changed.
    • Posts on feed profiles now have emoji reactions, bookmarks and “send to a chat”, like the main feed.
    • Mentions and failed messages keep their outline even on fancy bubble effects, nameplates calm down when your device asks for reduced motion, and the Aurora nameplate fills wide rows.

    A tidier /help

    • /help is now one small card with tabs (games, coins, casino, last.fm, fun, group) instead of a giant list. /help casino jumps straight to a tab.
    • Typing / shows the handful of commands people use most; keep typing to search all of them.
    • Fixed: coins from /beg drop into the cup, the /crime card no longer leaves a stray glow, the heist odds bar shows the real chance, and the Neon city nameplate’s grid covers the whole floor.

    No more getting stuck outside your account

    • Made your account with Discord and tried to log in with your email? The log-in page now tells you to use “log in with discord” (or “forgot it?” to set a password) instead of just saying it failed.
    • If the sign-up page says you already have an account, it now gives you buttons to log straight back in.
    • A Discord log-in that doesn’t go through (like using a different Discord account than the one you signed up with) now explains what happened instead of silently sending you back.

    Feed profiles, redone

    • Private accounts show a proper lock icon instead of an emoji.
    • Names with letters that dip below the line (y, g, p, j) no longer get their tails cut off.
    • Feed profiles now take on your page’s accent colours: a glowing banner (when you haven’t set one), a ring around your picture and matching highlights.
    • Bigger picture and name, your @, pronouns and location as little tags, stats as tiles you can tap, and smoother tabs.
    • Profiles show your display name instead of your @ when you’ve set one.

    8-ball pool, heists and new ways to earn

    • /pool: real 8-ball pool in any chat. Aim on the table, set your power and shoot, and everyone in the chat watches every shot roll out live. Challenge someone with /pool @name, or play for coins with /pool @name 500 (winner takes the pot).
    • /heist 200: plan a job on momo’s vault and the chat joins your crew. The bigger the crew, the better the odds. Get away and you double your buy-in.
    • /fish: cast a line every 40 minutes. Reel in junk, fish, treasure, or (very rarely) momo’s lost crown.
    • /weekly opens a big chest of coins once a week, /beg asks momo’s friends for spare change, and /crime is a risky little job: a big payday or a fine.

    Your display name, everywhere

    • The dashboard greeting, the sidebar, guestbook notes, statuses and chat search now show the display name you picked instead of the name you signed up with. Posts, stories, notifications and follow requests show your display name before your @username.

    momo’s shop glow-up: 26 new looks

    • Every nameplate has been redrawn as a little animated scene: a boat bobbing on the waves, a shooting star over the milky way, a synthwave city with a scrolling grid, coins pouring onto a pile, and more.
    • Eight new nameplates: Love letter, Snowfall, Rainy night, Firefly forest, Lava lamp, Koi pond, Aurora and Nebula.
    • All the bubble effects got richer: rolling candy stripes, falling sakura petals, two layers of ocean waves, a spinning neon ring, sparkling bevelled gold and more.
    • Nine new bubbles: Matcha, Midnight, Sunset, Lovestruck, Frosted glass, Terminal, Aurora, Lava and Prism.
    • Name effects are glossier and glow, and there are nine new ones: Sakura, Sunset, Toxic, Glitch, Aurora, Galaxy, Chrome, Eclipse and Prism. (Sparkle is now Glitter, and Glow is now Neon.)

    • The Ocean nameplate’s waves no longer leave a hard edge on the right side as they roll.

    Tidier profile timelines

    • On profiles, the “pinned post”, “reposted” and “liked” labels now line up with the post, and the reply / repost / like / share buttons sit in even columns so the numbers no longer jump around from post to post.

    • Tap the paper plane on any story to send it to one of your chats, or copy its link.
    • Shared stories show up in the chat as a little preview to tap and watch (if you’re allowed to see it).

    • Sending someone a yen.bio group invite link in a chat now shows a card with the group’s picture, name and size, and a button to join.

    Private feed accounts

    • Make your feed account private (edit profile → Private account): only followers you accept see your posts.
    • Following a private account sends a request. Accept or decline requests from your notifications.
    • Reposts now show in your Posts, mixed in with what you wrote, instead of their own tab.

    Hide games, and turn off commands

    • Hide a game in a chat to shrink it to a slim bar (it lights up when it’s your turn), or hit “hide all” to tuck every game away.
    • Group owners can turn momo’s commands on and off for their group in the group settings.

    momo’s shop

    • momo has her own shop in the dashboard (store → momo’s shop), dressed up for Halloween right now.
    • Spend coins on name effects (how your name looks in group chats), bubble effects (how your messages look to everyone) and nameplates (behind your name in a group’s member list).
    • Avatar decorations moved there too: try anything on before you buy, and wear or take off what you own in one tap.
    • Nameplates and name effects also show in your chat list, behind people you message one-to-one.
    • Your avatar decoration now shows on your picture in chats. Turn that off from your account menu if you’d rather not.

    Fairer weekly and monthly leaderboards

    • A page can’t show more visits this week or month than it has in total, so bursts of fake views no longer win the board.

    Talk to momo

    • momo is an AI now: type /say and anything, or just @momo her in a message, and she’ll answer in the chat.
    • She only sees what you say to her (never the rest of your chat), and remembers her last few chats with you for a day.

    • A new sticker pack with momo and her friends together, two to five at a time: besties, sleepover, the gc rn, the gang, HBD!!, miss u and more.

    Your own reaction bar, and birthday confetti

    • Way more emoji to react with.
    • Pick the six on your reaction bar: open the reactions, tap +, then “edit your reaction bar”. The first one is what a double tap sends.
    • On your phone, hold a message (or a reaction) to see who reacted with what.
    • Saying happy birthday in a chat throws confetti around the message. Tap it to throw some more.
    • Typing a full emoji name like :eyes: turns into 👀 right away in the message box.
    • Your page’s picture now shows everywhere instead of your Discord or sign-in picture.

    The Halloween event is live 🎃

    • The pumpkin hunt starts today instead of October 20, and runs until November 2.
    • Find 5 hidden pumpkins around yen.bio for the limited Halloween 2026 badge. Your dashboard tracks which ones you’ve found.
    • The home page has a Halloween night: an orange moon with bats and a witch flying past, a “boo!” sign, spooky fairy lights, cobwebs, jack-o’-lanterns, a ghost, and momo in a witch hat.
    • The dashboard gets fog, a ghost drifting by, and momo’s witch hat too.

    Songs in chats

    • Paste a Spotify song link in a chat and it turns into a card with the cover art, title and artist.
    • Tap play to hear a 30-second preview right in the chat (a record spins while it plays), or open it in Spotify.
    • Deleting a message now removes it completely, for everyone, instead of leaving a “deleted” note behind.

    Statuses

    • Pick a status from your account menu (your picture, bottom left).
    • Appear offline: nobody sees you’re on, but you still get everything.
    • Do not disturb: no pop-ups, sounds or phone notifications. Your unread counts still go up, so nothing gets lost.
    • Important only: just mentions of you, and messages from people you pick, get through.
    • Chats show when someone’s on do not disturb (red) or important only (yellow).

    Battleship and uno

    • Type /battleship in a chat (or /battleship @friend) to sink each other’s fleets: rolling seas, burning hits, splashes and a crosshair that follows your aim. A hit gets you another shot.
    • Type /uno for a game with up to 8 people. Your hand is only ever shown to you; match the colour or number, and use skips, reverses, +2s and wilds.
    • Winners get coins, like every other game.

    Invite friends, get premium

    • You have an invite link now (yen.bio/r/yourname): find it on your dashboard.
    • When a friend signs up with it and makes their page, you both get a week of premium. It stacks, up to 12 weeks.
    • The yen.bio pill on your page links people through your invite too.
    • The leaderboard has an invites tab for who’s brought the most friends.

    Aliases that don’t forward stay private

    • An alias you own but have set not to forward no longer shows in the “also @…” list on your page or your feed profile.

    Six new coin games

    • /icefish: drop a line through the ice and see what bites, from an old boot to the golden fish (25×).
    • /wheel: spin a wheel at low, medium or high risk.
    • /roulette: bet on red, black, odd, even, low, high, green or a single number.
    • /slots: three reels of hand-drawn symbols (cherries, lemons, grapes, bells, stars and the blossom gem), a jackpot on three of a kind.
    • /hilo: guess higher or lower, card after card, and cash out whenever you like.
    • /tower: climb eight floors past the traps (easy, medium or hard) and cash out on the way up.

    Stickers of momo’s friends

    • Twenty new stickers in chats and on the feed: juno (half asleep, with cocoa and a song), sol (yelling, with a megaphone), mika (with her camera, tagging everyone) and kai (with his controller, and no coins).
    • The sticker picker has a tab for each of them, and remembers the last one you used.
    • momo’s help card has new icons: a clean set on coloured tiles, one colour per kind of command.

    The leaderboard, redone

    • See who’s getting the most visits this week, this month or of all time.
    • One clean list: the top three get a bigger row with their own background (pictures and videos) playing behind them, and momo’s peeking over number one.
    • Your own visits never count, and neither does refreshing someone’s page over and over.
    • It’s back in the top bar.

    momo’s shop: spend your coins

    • Nine new avatar decorations you can only get with coins: mika’s bow, sol’s tuft, juno’s horns, kai’s headphones, fairy lights, a blossom wreath, a coin ring, momo peeking over your picture, and momo and friends. Once you buy one it’s yours for good.
    • Buy them in the editor (Profile → Avatar decoration → momo’s shop) or in any chat with /shop and /buy.
    • /work: do a little job every 2 hours for some coins.
    • /daily now pays a bonus when your streak hits 7, 14, 30, 60 and 100 days in a row.

    A new front page, and momo’s friends

    • Meet momo’s friends: juno the sleepy cloud lamb, sol the loud little chick, mika the frog who tags everyone, and kai the cat who never has any coins.
    • The front page lights up when you open it: the room starts dark, the fairy lights come on one by one and the lamp flickers on. Moonlight falls through the window, and there’s a cat asleep on the pouf (pet it), a train crossing the city, and a phone that keeps buzzing.
    • The most visited pages now open live in a little browser window, with the chart beside it.
    • There’s a game night section where you can play tic-tac-toe against kai right on the page.
    • Headings use a rounder, softer font, and on phones the room is the first thing you see.
    • Coins got a makeover: they’re gold with the yen blossom stamped on them, and they flip and shine now and then.
    • The loading screen’s glow sits behind momo again.
