Badges

Which badges exist, how to get them, and how to reorder, hide, recolor and resize them.

Official

FounderFounded yumu.
StaffPart of the yumu team.
DeveloperBuilds yumu.
VerifiedGiven by staff after confirming who you are. It can’t be bought.

Earned

Top 3Automatic while your page is in the top three of the leaderboard: gold, silver or bronze. It updates every few minutes and goes when you drop out.
yumu proAutomatic while you have yumu pro. It disappears when yumu pro ends.
Early SupporterAutomatic when you buy yumu pro on or before November 12, 2026. Yours for good, even after yumu pro ends.
OGAutomatic for new accounts until yumu reaches 30 accounts. Kept for good.
DonatorBuy it once in the Shop. It’s permanent and also shows next to your name on the leaderboard.

Color

Recolor a badge. The artwork itself changes color and keeps its shading, not just its glow. Reset brings back the original colors.

Style

Glow, Color, Flat

Default: Glow

Glow draws every badge bright white with a soft glow (or in the color you picked for it). Color shows each badge in its own colors with light and shade. Flat draws each one in a single flat color.

Transparent background

On / Off

Default: Off

Removes the frosted pill behind the badge row.

Works on: Identity, Spotlight, Bento, Panel

Size

12–64px

Default: 16px

Badge icon size.

Note

Badges you upload as your own image keep their colors and animation: every style only changes their glow. Terminal lists badges as words, Desktop 98 as small labelled buttons and Old Web as a grid, so Style, Size and Transparent background don’t apply there.

Custom badges

  1. 1Buy a Custom badge in the Shop (up to 10 per account).
  2. 2In Dashboard → Shop → Your custom badges, give it a name (2–20 characters) and either upload your own image or pick an icon from the library, plus a color.
  3. 3It appears in your badge row straight away. Edit or delete it there any time.
  • Uploads: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, AVIF or SVG, up to 4MB. Every upload is converted into a 128×128 image; animated GIFs and WebPs stay animated. Square images look best.
  • Names can’t copy official badges (Staff, Verified, yumu pro, Donator, Mod…) or another person’s badge.
  • Checkmark icons are reserved for Verified. Uploaded art that imitates a verification check, or breaks the Terms, will be removed by staff.

Leaderboard

yumu.lol/leaderboard ranks the 50 most viewed pages. Your own visits never count, repeat visits from the same person are limited, and bots are filtered out. Verified accounts show their checkmark, and Donators their heart.
