Unlock positioning
On / Off
Default: Off
Lets you drag items inside the editor preview. Visitors see them where you leave them.
Works on: Identity, After Dark, Panel · partly Old Web
Snap to grid
Off, 8, 16, 24 or 32px
Default: 16px
Dropped items land on a grid lined up with the middle of the card, so they line up with each other. The grid shows while you drag. Hold Alt (Option on a Mac) while dropping to place an item freely.
Works on: Identity, After Dark, Panel · partly Old Web
Canvas height
100–1500px
Default: 430px
How tall the card is while Unlock positioning is on, so dragged items have room. Only used while it’s on.
Works on: Identity, After Dark, Panel · partly Old Web
How to use it
- 1Turn on Unlock positioning.
- 2In the preview, drag any item: picture, name, badges, bio, details, view count, or a link (a row of icon links moves as one).
- 3Switch the preview between phone and desktop and arrange each one. Phone and desktop positions are saved separately, because the card is a different size on each.
- 4For exact alignment, click an item and use the arrow keys: one grid step per press, four with Shift, a single pixel with Alt (Option).
- 5Raise Canvas height if items need more room, then publish.
Positions are kept when you turn the setting off, and come back when you turn it on again. Using a template or resetting the design keeps them too.
