Buying a username

Pick a name on the Market and a coin. The name is held for you while you pay, so nobody can buy it out from under you. You send two payments: the seller’s share to the seller and yumu’s fee to yumu. The checkout shows both. When both confirm, the name moves to your account as an alias. Make it your main @ any time in Settings → Aliases.

Selling

1. 1Add a payout wallet in Settings for each coin you want to be paid in.
2. 2Open Selling in your dashboard and list one of your aliases with a price ($5 minimum), or put a price on one of your templates.
3. 3Buyers pay your wallet directly. There’s nothing to withdraw.

• A listed alias keeps pointing at your page until it sells, and can’t be removed meanwhile.
• Change the price or take it down any time, unless someone is mid-checkout.
• To sell your main @, first make another alias your main one (Settings → Aliases → Make main).
• yumu keeps 20% of each sale, or 10% if you have yumu pro when the buyer starts their checkout. That split is fixed for that checkout. Taxes on your sales are yours to handle.
• You can’t delete your account while a buyer’s payment to you is still being confirmed.
