Publishing and drafts
Why changes don’t show until you publish, and how to undo or reset.
Where: Customize → Publish (top right)
The editor works on a draft. Your public page only changes when you press Publish, which stays at the top of Customize wherever you scroll. It reads Published when everything is live.
- If you try to leave the editor with unpublished changes, your browser asks you to confirm.
- Undo everything since your last publish: reload the editor without publishing. The draft is thrown away.
- Links are the exception: adding, editing or deleting a link in Customize → Links is saved straight away.
- Without yumu pro, pro-only settings aren’t saved when you publish; the editor tells you which. See yumu pro.
Reset design to default
Reset design (next to Pick a look) puts the look back to a brand-new page’s: the Identity layout, a plain dark background and the default colors, fonts, card, effects, cursor, music player style and entry screen. Your custom CSS is cleared too.
It keeps: your name, bio, pronouns and location, links, picture, alternate bio lines, extra sections, element order and hidden items, badge order, colors and hidden badges, dragged positions, page title, favicon, the yumu badge setting, your song, its cover and lyrics, and the line under your entry screen message.
