Interaction and motion

Click effect

None, Ripple, Confetti, Hearts, Sparks

Default: None

A burst wherever someone clicks or taps. Uses your accent colors.

Page spotlight

0–100%

Default: 0 (off)

A soft Accent light that follows the mouse across the page. Desktop only.

Background parallax

0–100%

Default: 0 (off)

The background drifts slightly against the mouse for depth. Desktop only, and only for image, GIF and video backgrounds.

Avatar motion

Still, Float, Pulse, Sway

Default: Still

Your picture moves gently. Not on Editorial, Terminal, Desktop 98 or Old Web.

Works on: Identity, After Dark, Spotlight, Bento, Panel

Card entrance

None, Fade, Rise, Focus, Slide Left, Slide Right, Slide Up, Drop, Scale, Zoom Out, Flip, Unfold, Curtain, Iris, Sweep, Warp, Glitch In, Hacker, Matrix, Shatter, Pulse

Default: None

How your whole page appears when it opens. With the click-to-enter screen on, it plays when the visitor taps in. Iris, Sweep, Warp, Glitch In, Hacker, Matrix and Shatter are part of yumu pro.

Content animation

How the things on your card appear, one after another with Cascade.

Entrance speed

50–200%

Default: 100%

How fast your card entrance plays. 200% is twice as fast, 50% half speed.

Text effect speed

25–200%

Default: 100%

The speed of your name and bio effects.

Scrollbar

Default, Thin accent colored, Hidden

Default: Default

Hidden still lets people scroll.

Accent text selection

On / Off

Default: Off

Highlighted text uses your Accent color.

Visitors who prefer reduced motion

Some people turn on “reduce motion” on their phone or computer because movement makes them unwell. For them yumu automatically turns off 3D tilt, click effects, page spotlight, parallax and the cursor trail, freezes background particles, skips entrance animations and shows Terminal instantly. You don’t need to do anything.
