Day palette

A second, lighter set of colors your page switches to by itself.

Where: Customize → Colors and fonts → Day palette

Switch to it

Never · When the visitor’s device is in light mode · During the day (visitor’s local time)

Default: Never

When the day colors replace your normal ones.

Day starts / Day ends

0:00–23:00

Default: 7:00 – 19:00

Only for the time-of-day option. Uses each visitor’s own clock. If the end is earlier than the start, the day wraps past midnight.

Text, Muted, Card, Border, Accent, Accent 2

The day versions of your palette colors.

Lighten the background / Strength

Default: White at 82%

A wash laid over your background so dark images and videos don’t fight with light cards.

Preview it by adding ?theme=day to your link (for example yumu.lol/you?theme=day) and ?theme=night to go back. The preview only works when Switch to it isn’t Never.

Heads up: what doesn’t switch

Only those eight colors change. These stay the same day and night: Name color, badge colors, the background itself (image, video, color or gradient), background effect color, cursor color, visualizer colors, link icon colors and anything in custom CSS. If you set a white Name color, it will be invisible on a white day card. Reset Name color, or pick one that works on both.

Desktop 98 only changes its title bar colors.
